Homeopathy can be used as alternative medicine in a wide variety of conditions. Moreover it does not interfere with conventional medicine and can be used complimentarily in many cases.

The Faculty of Homeopathy (UK), and the examinations conducted by it, are recognised in India by the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. Consequently, the degree awarded by it is registrable under the Third Schedule of the afore-mentioned Act.
